to many, i'm known as 'nicole, nik, mrs. ward.

to some, i'm known as 'friend'. 
to two beautiful children named tony and alana, i'm known as 'mommy'.
to one, i'm known as 'pretty lady'.

the truth is, i go by many titles, but at the foundation, i am a God-fearing Christian woman who was saved and blessed over and over again. in my 20 plus 9 years of life (i will never say 30!), i am cherishing the journey of life and do not hold too tight to pre-destined notions for my future. 

  • by blessings, i refer to my husband who i know was designed especially for me. through him i witnessed first hand God's unconditional love for me.
  • by blessings, i refer to our two children who has taught me patience, love, and laughter. 
  • by blessings, i refer to family who offers us support in all we endeavor to accomplish
  • by blessings i refer to friends, true friends, that do not change based on changing seasons.

but these blessings aren't the end-all, be-all. i've come to realize that life isn't all about me. it goes way beyond that. it's the sharing and helping of others, as true service to the Lord, that i'm striving to achieve. 

to say my life is perfect wouldn't be true. and i may not be happy all day every day, but every day i experience a sense of peace that no one can steal. and hopefully at the end of this life's journey, i can attest to the quote below:



When I stand before God at the end of my life, I would hope that I would not have a single bit of talent left and could say, I used everything you gave me.
